Analysis of Agrifood Exhibitions in Spain
The analysis carried out during the first half of 2021 in a sample of 200 national companies belonging to the Spanish agri-food industry shows important differences between subsectors regarding the assessment they give to the current structure of agri-food exhibitions and events.
The formats adapted during the pandemic, in general, have not convinced the different subsectors. On the other hand, there are four subsectors that valued the current formats of the main national exhibitions and events above all others: "Frozen Foods", "Bakery, Confectionery and Derivatives", "Preserves" and "Sausages and Hams".
Other subsectors are more focused on highly specialized exhibitions and events.
Employment situation continues to be the main problem in the provinces of Andalusia
Our study of different Andalusian municipalities that are not provincial capitals, throughout 2021, reveals that concern about the employment situation and the future related to it has decreased compared to 2020. However, and despite the improvement perception, concern about the employment situation continues to be the main problem in the municipalities of the Andalusian provinces, far removed from other problems; such as cleaning, attention deficit in health clinics, etc.
